CANDLESTICK PATTERNS OF TODAY’S HUMAN INTERACTION

The installation is an ongoing series that I started in 2012. Each month I create a new painting which reflects the month’s ups and downs of Facebook, Inc on the candlestick chart from the NASDAQ Stock Market. I use this chart analysis as a metaphor to show the ups and downs of the emotions of human beings during its process of interaction on social media (like, don't like, feeling excited, feeling sad, etc...) My obsession to use time as the measurement unit to represent the effects of technology on us prevails on this epic installation that nowadays (November 2017) measures 107 x 190 feet.
